However you choose to answer that question, if you dig down deeper and ask yourself what lies under your dreams and goals in life there are only two things that we really want:
Happiness and fulfilment.
The error that we so often make is that we do not see nor understand the connection between the goals that we set for ourselves and what it is we really want. We set goals to pursue a certain career, or amass a certain amount of money, or have a certain kind of relationship, but then fail to recognize that these types of goals are simply a means to an end; we pursue them because what we really want is to be happy and fulfilled, and believe that achieving them will make us so.
